This is the day we pray for our ancestors who are no more. This day we place new clothes for our ancestors(Vesti/Pancha with shirt and sarees) in nadi veedu and pray.
This day, we make

  • Sambar
  • Vadai
  • Potato fry
  • Vazhakai Varuval(Raw Banana Fry)
  • Payasam
  • Sakkara Pongal
and offer all these to our ancestors. 
I am a mom, a wife, daughter and daughter in law, an elder sister of 5 siblings. My kids and my husband loves what I cook for them. Cooking is my passion.
