Prawns/ Shrimp fry

WE NEED:
  • Oil- 3 Tbsp
  • Onions(chopped finely)- 2 cups.
  • Curry leaves- handful.
  • Coriander leaves- handful.
  • Tomatoes(chopped finely)- 1.5 cups.
  • Ginger- 1 inch.
  • Garlic- 3 pods.
  • Green chili- 2 no.
  • Red chili powder/ paprika- 1 Tbsp.
  • Coriander powder- 1 Tbsp.
  • Turmeric powder- 2 tsp.
  • Salt to taste.
  • Shrimp/ Prawns- 1.5 Lb (around 15 to 20 no.)
PROCEDURE:
  • In a pan, add oil once its hot, add in finely chopped onions and curry leaves.
  • Once the onions turns transparent add in finely chopped tomatoes and coriander leaves.
  • Add in ginger, garlic and green chili paste, saute for 2 minutes.
  • Add in red chili powder, turmeric powder and salt according to your taste.
  • Let it cook until the gravy turns into dark red. Add in the prawns mix well. 
  • Cook until the prawn cooks. It will take not more than 10 min. Enjoy the tasty Prawn/ Shrimp Fry.
  • If you want it as gravy let it be like this. Other wise you can saute until the gravy thickens.
Enjoy the delicious shrimp/ Prawns fry with hot rice. It will be delicious.
