Cook time: Less than 15 min
Preparation: Separating the leaves from stems & cutting onions
- Temper mustard seeds, cumin seeds, urad dal and channa dal in oil along with 2no red chillies.
- Add chopped onions to the tempered content then add little water and salt.
- Once the water starts to boil add the drumstick leaves, mix well until the leaves shrinks, but not change color. Lastly add smashed garlic. stir well and remove from the heat.
Note:
- The drumstick leaves should't change color.
- add very little water less than 1/4 cup. Leaves itself releases water a bit.
- Don't add too much salt, once the leaves cooks it's size reduces to less than half of its original size.
