Atukula Dosa/ Aval Dosai/ Pressed Rice Dosa



Ingredients

Rice- 2 cups
Atukulu/ Aval- 1/2 cup
Urad Dal/ Udhi pappu- 1/2 cup
Butter Milk- 4 cups 
Salt- to taste

Preparation


Soak Rice, Atukulu, Urad dal in butter milk over night


Grind everything by adding buttermilk into a coarse paste. Add salt and set it aside for 6 to 7 hours. 

Procedure

Place the tawa on stove once it becomes hot, pour the laddle full of batter on the tawa to make circle shape. Make it a small circle, so that we can flip easily. Let it roast well for a minute and flip the dosa. 


Delicious Atukula Dosa is ready for serving. Serve it with sambar or any chutney.
