POOJAI FOR MUNEESWARAR | MUNEESWARA POOJA BEFORE GOOD EVENTS

Before starting any new functions at home we pray MUNEESWARA SWAMI on our corridor outside of our house.

We make Muneeswarar with 5 bricks, wash it, apply turmeric to the bricks, put on kunkumam bottu and decorate with flowers. 

We clean the area and do kolam(rangoli)

We get up early do the bath, and do all the work.

We get from outside-

• Elaneer(Whole coconut)
• Suruttai(Cigar) 
• Aval
• Pori
• Pottu kadalai(Split peas)

We make 

• Chapati
• Make a chapati length wise
• Chana dal sundal

And serving everything in banana leaf, we break the coconut and do harathi by lighting camphor.

After that we do the poojai for 

• Poovadai kari(Amman)
• Perumal(Venkateswara swami)- The next day.
