French Fries | Potato wedges

KOTHAVARANGAI PORIYAL/ CLUSTER BEANS STIR FRY


WE NEED:
  • Cluster beans(finely chopped)- 15 to 20 no.
  • Onion(chopped)- 1/4 cup.
  • Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp.
  • Red chili powder/ Paprika- 1 tsp.
  • Salt to taste.
  • Water- 1/3 cup.
  • Oil- 1 Tbsp.
  • Mustard seeds- 1/2 tsp.
  • Cumin- 1/2 tsp.
  • Hing- 1/2 tsp.
  • Curry Leaves- handful.
HOW WE DO IT:
  • Take a pan, add in cluster beans, chopped onions, turmeric, paprika, salt and water, mix it together and let it cook until the cluster beans are cooked(approximately 10 min).
  • Temper the mustard seeds, cumin, hing and curry leaves in hot oil and add it to the cooked cluster beans, cook until the water is all absorbed by the cluster beans.
  • Finally add in crushed peanuts with crushed garlic at last to enhance the taste of the poriyal.
