French Fries | Potato wedges

Urlakalangu Poricha kuzhambu/ urlagadda pulusu/potato pulusu


  1. Take hot pan, add oil up to 5 tbsp, add in some fenugreek seeds let it turn maroon color then add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, urad dal and chana dal. 
  2. Add in chopped onions(1 medium sized) let it turn transparent then add chopped tomatoes(1 medium sized) let it fry until the gravy thickens.
  3. Add in the potatoes(cut length wise) mix well add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt. Mix well pour some water, close the lid cook until the potatoes cooks half.
  4. Then add thick tamarind juice, mix well close the lid cook until the curry thickens and oil separates.
  5. Enjoy.
