Previous Day:
- Soak Mochakottai the previous day. (Max 8hrs).
The Other Day:
- Pressure cook the mochakottai in water(water upto the mochakottai desolves) for 2 whistles by adding salt and turmeric powder.
- Drain the water once the pressure releases.
- In a pan add oil(5tbsp) and crushed sompu(1 tbsp), let it splutter.
- Add little salt, turmeric powder(1tbsp) and turmeric powder. Give it a good mix add the boiled mochakottai. Deep fry it the oil.
- Serve it with Sambar, Rasam, or Korma.
