- In pressure cooker add oil, little ghee and add , then add onions, (Ginger+Garlic+Curry leaves+patta(1 inch piece)+lavangam(5)+ sompu(1 tbsp)) paste fry it well.
- Then add tomatoes and corriander leaves then add chicken fry it well until the pink colour of the chicken turns white, then add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, curd(2 to 3 tbsp) and salt.Then add 1/2 of the water and Pressure cook it until 3 whistles.
- Once the pressure releases add little Garam masala, mix well then add Soaked rice, taste the salt, if it tastes less then add adequate amount.
- Pressure cook again for 2 whistles, off the stove, move the cooker from stove. Serve when it is hot. Enjoy the delicious Biryani.
