WE NEED:
- Oil- 3 Tbsp
- Mutton- 1/2 Kg
- Onions(chopped)- 1 Cup
- Tomato(chopped)- 1/2 Cup
- Red chili powder- 1 Tbsp
- Coriander powder- 1 Tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper powder- 1 Tbsp
To Grind:
- Sompu/ Fennel- 1 Tbsp
- Patta/ Cinnamon- 1 inch
- Cloves- 5 no.
- Curry leaves- Hand full
- Green chilies- 2 no
- Ginger- 2 inch
- Garlic- 3 pods
HOW WE DO IT:
- Grind (Sompu+Patta+lavangam)+(Ginger+Garlic+Green chillies+Curry leaves).
- In Cooker add oil, once the oil heats add Mutton pieces, fry well until its color changes, then add the ground paste, fry well until the raw smell gone.
- Add turmeric powder, salt and chili powder, mix it thoroughly, add water then pressure cook it for 9 to 10 whistles.
- Once the pressure releases, add the chopped onions and tomatoes to the cooked mutton then cook well until the gravy thickens and oil separates.
Simple yet delicious.
