Simple Mutton Fry

WE NEED:
  • Oil- 3 Tbsp
  • Mutton- 1/2 Kg
  • Onions(chopped)- 1 Cup
  • Tomato(chopped)- 1/2 Cup
  • Red chili powder- 1 Tbsp
  • Coriander powder- 1 Tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper powder- 1 Tbsp
To Grind:
  • Sompu/ Fennel- 1 Tbsp
  • Patta/ Cinnamon- 1 inch
  • Cloves- 5 no.
  • Curry leaves- Hand full
  • Green chilies- 2 no
  • Ginger- 2 inch
  • Garlic- 3 pods

HOW WE DO IT:
  1. Grind (Sompu+Patta+lavangam)+(Ginger+Garlic+Green chillies+Curry leaves).
  2. In Cooker add oil, once the oil heats add Mutton pieces, fry well until its color changes, then add the ground paste, fry well until the raw smell gone. 
  3. Add turmeric powder, salt and chili powder, mix it thoroughly, add water then pressure cook it for 9 to 10 whistles.
  4. Once the pressure releases, add the chopped onions and tomatoes to the cooked mutton then cook well until the gravy thickens and oil separates.
Simple yet delicious.
