The Diwali Day(Nombu/Nomu)

On the actual diwali day, we have kedhara gowri viratham(nombu/nomu), we won't eat any thing from morning until the pooja is done(evening). That day, we take head bath in the morning, then will start cooking, The menu for diwali day is: Beans stir fry , Urlakazzhangu fry(urlagadda fry/potato stir fry)/vazhakai fry(Aratikaya fry/raw banana stir fry), Mango Pachadi, Sambar(okra & brinjal), 21 Athirasam/nippatlu, 21 Vada, 21 Soyyam/sugilu, Rice Payasam(i made it for my husband). WE NEED: Potatoes(cut into length wise cubes)- 2 no Oil- 1 Tbsp Salt to taste Water- 1 cup PROCEDURE: Take a microwave safe container, add in potato pieces, a teaspoon of salt and water . Microwave it for 5 minutes. Strain the potatoes from water. AIR FRYER In an air fryer add in oil, strained potatoes, air fry it for 15 minutes, mix in between. Add in salt to taste. Enjoy the delicious potato wedges/ french fries with any dip. Or eat as a side.
