Ingredients
- Shredded Coconut- 1 cup
- Urad Dal- handful
- RedChillies- 2(small)
- Tamarind- Lemon sized ball
- Salt to taste
For Tempering
- Oil- 3 tsp
- (Mustard seeds, urad dal, chana dal, cumin seeds) - 1 1/2 tsp
- Curry leaves- 5
Preparation
- Add oil in a pan, once heated add red chillies, urad dal saute until golden brown. turnoff the flame, let it cool and grind into fine powder first.
- Add in coconut, tamarind and little water grind the chutney until blended fine.
- Add little oil in the same pan and add temper the things mentioned under 'For Tempering'. Add it to the chutney, mix well and serve.
