Beetroot Fry(Pappu version)


  1. Pressure cook channa dal for 1 whistle.
  2. Add in chopped beetroot, chopped onions, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt and crushed fennel seeds, again pressure cook for 1 whistle.
  3. Switch off the stove. Take a hot pan, temper with mustard seeds, cumin seeds, channa dal and urad dal, add in the pressure cooked beetroot. 
  4. Fry it well until all the water evaporates. enjoy.
