Chapati | Chapathi | Roti

Ingredients
  • Wheat Flour- 2 cups
  • Water to make dough
  • Salt- to taste
  • Oil- 1 Tbsp
Preparation
  • Mix wheat flour, salt and water make it into a soft dough as mentioned in below picture. Add some oil to the dough and set it aside for 30 minutes. 
  • After 30 min make that dough in to equal shaped balls. 
  • Roll the balls individually on rolling pan by dusting it with wheat flour occasionally. Roll in such a way that all the sides should be of same thickness. 
  • Place a griddle, heat it add the rolled dough to the pan, let the chapati sit on hot griddle for 10 seconds, flip and sit again for 10 seconds, then flip it over. Press gently on the chapati so that the chapati will puff up. 
  • The chapati will be soft for long time, if it puffs up. That's it yummy and delicious chapati is ready. Eat it with MATAR PANEER or SIMPLE PANEER THOKKU or TOMATO THOKKU or even my favorite Raita. It tastes delicious
