WE NEED:
- Ragi flour- 2 Cups
- Jaggery- 1 Cup
- Water- 3/4 Cup
- Ghee- 3 Tbsp
- Oil- 2 Tbsp
- Cardamom powder- 1 tsp
- Cashew nuts- 4 to 5 num.
- In hot water add jaggery, let it soak well then make it watery and pinch salt and cardamom powder.
- Mix Ragi flour with Jaggery water.
- This Batter should be not loose nor thick.
- Take hot pan add ghee roast cashews then add oil, once the oil heats add the ragi batter to it.
- Stir continuously until the batter becomes non sticky and puttu like consistency. The Halwa should not stick to hands.
- Enjoy the tasty and healthy halwa.
