Paruppu Adai


Pre Preparations:
  1. Soak the following Dal for 3 to 4 hours
    • Toor Dal(3/4 Cup)
    • Channa Dal(3/4 Cup)
    • Moong Dal(1/2 Cup)
    • Rice(3/4 Cup)
  2. Grind Red Chillies(6), Sompu(1 tbsp), Ginger(2 inches) well then add rice in it grind it to a coarse paste. Keep it in the bowl. Then grind all the dals to the coase paste.
  3. Add salt mix it well. Store it in air tight container refrigerate.
Procedure:
  1. Once u decide to make adai, In a pan add oil, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, urad dal(1 tbsp), channa dal(1 tbsp) and red chillies(3), asafoetida and the chopped coconut. mix it well. Let it cool then add it to the adai mix.
  2. In a Dosa kadai/ Pan add oil and adai batter to a dosa like consistency or just pour the batter close the lid. Once it cooks well flip the adai and close it again.
  3. Enjoy the delicious adai. Enjoy it with Jaggery.
