  1. Pressure cook Chana dal, cumin seeds, garlic and turmeric for 2 to 3 whistles.
  2. Chop kale leaves add them to pressure cooked channa dal and add chopped onions, salt.
  3. Once the leaves cooked well, temper it with mustard seeds, urad dal, cumin seeds and red chillies.
