Murunga Soup/ Drumstick soup


  1. In a pan add little oil then add Black Pepper Seeds(1 tbsp), Corriander Seeds(2 tbsp). Then grind it into a fine paste.
  2. Boil Murunga along with onions(1 cup), tomatoes(1/2 cup), salt and turmeric powder.
  3. Mean while grind Ginger(1 inch piece), Garlic(6 pods), Curry leaves along with Green chillies(3 num).
  4. Once the murunga boils(We can find it by checking onions, once the onions turns transparent we can conclude that drumstick is cooked), add ginger garlic ground paste, red chilli powder, then add the pepper paste, cook well until the raw smell gone.
  5. Lastly temper with just sompu(Fennel seeds 1 tbsp).
