Dhondakai kootu/ Kovakai Kootu/ Tindora Kootu


  1. Soak Moong Dal for 10 to 15 min. 
  2. Boil the soaked moong dal along with chopped onions(1/2 cup), tomato(1/2), Corriander leaves.
  3. Once the dal cookes well add the tindora pieces, salt, turmeric powder.
  4. Once the gravy thickens. Temper it with mustard seeds, cumin seeds, urad dal, channa dal,  dry red chillies and curry leaves.
Note:
If u want add chilli powder while boiling.
