Tindora Fry/ Dhondakaya vepudu/ kovakai Poriyal



Ingredients

  • Tindora/ Dhondakaya(chopped round)- 1/2 kg
  • Onions(chopped)- 1/2 cup
  • Oil- 2 Tbsp

For tempering:

  • (Mustard seeds, Cumin seeds, Curry leaves)- 1 tsp.
  • Turmeric powder- pinch
  • Red chilli powder- 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder- 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste

Preparation

  • Heat oil in a pan, add mustard and cumin. Add onions, salt, turmeric and stir well, then add red chili powder and coriander powder. 
  • Add chopped tindora, mix well and cook until oil starts to separate, stir in between. 
Must try tindora stir fry will be ready, it taste awesome with sambar rice/ rasam.
