- Mushrooms- 11 to 12
- Onions(sliced)- 1 cup
- Tomatoes(sliced)- 1/2 cup
- Ginger-Garlic paste- 1 1/2 tsp
- Sompu/ Fennel- 1 Tbsp
- Oil- 2 Tbsp.
For tempering:
- (Mustard seeds, Cumin seeds)- 1 tbsp.
- Curry leaves- 5 to 6
Spices:
- Turmeric Powder- pinch
- Red chilli Powder- 1 tbsp
- Coriander Powder- 1 tbsp
- Cumin- Pepper Powder
- Salt to taste
Preparation
- Heat pan and add oil then add the things mentioned in 'For Tempering'. Add in sliced onions, ginger-garlic and fennel paste, salt, turmeric, red chili powder and coriander powder and mix well.
- Add in tomatoes and mushrooms, stir well and close the lid for a minute.
- Mushrooms starts to leave water, cook until the mushrooms are well cooked and oil seperates.
- Finally add the black pepper and cumin powder, mix well.
- Switch off the flame and serve it, tasty mushroom fry is ready. Serve it with hot rice.
