Mushroom Fry



 Ingredients

  • Mushrooms- 11 to 12
  • Onions(sliced)- 1 cup
  • Tomatoes(sliced)- 1/2 cup
  • Ginger-Garlic paste- 1 1/2 tsp
  • Sompu/ Fennel- 1 Tbsp
  • Oil- 2 Tbsp.

For tempering:

  • (Mustard seeds, Cumin seeds)- 1 tbsp.
  • Curry leaves- 5 to 6

Spices:

  • Turmeric Powder- pinch
  • Red chilli Powder- 1 tbsp
  • Coriander Powder- 1 tbsp
  • Cumin- Pepper Powder
  • Salt to taste

Preparation
  • Heat pan and add oil then add the things mentioned in 'For Tempering'. Add in sliced onions, ginger-garlic and fennel paste, salt, turmeric, red chili powder and coriander powder and mix  well. 
  • Add in tomatoes and mushrooms, stir well and close the lid for a minute. 
  • Mushrooms starts to leave water, cook until the mushrooms are well cooked and oil seperates.
  • Finally add the black pepper and cumin powder, mix well.

  • Switch off the flame and serve it, tasty mushroom fry is ready. Serve it with hot rice.
